reader, anonymous, writes (4 December 2005): Deal with it one day at a time. Get your son some counseling, and find a school he can attend for now. It's important he continue with his studies, and things may seem more manageable if life feels more routine. Remind your son that your love for him is unconditional, spend time alone with your wife making sure not to let the stress drive a wedge in your relationship, and, as a family, wait to see what happens next.
