We are friends, and we do theatre together so I talk to him at play practice. The other day he called while I was at school out of nowhere and asked to talk to me. When he was told I wasn't there he asked if we had play practice, and said that his mom told him we didn't but he was "just checking". Also, he is neighbors with another girl in the play, whom he could have contacted to find out if we had practice...does this mean anything? Also, what do I do now if he does like me? It seems like there is a level of attraction betwee you two. Laura1318 is right, just take your time and spend time together.

Yeah!, He fancies you alright. His calling you was just an excuse to talk to you.
If he fancies you , just enjoy his attentions . be friends first and let it bloom slowly.
