writes:i've been going out with this guy for less than a month, but we spent so much time together. Just last night we went to a friends together and he was hugging me and everything. today i messaged him asking how his day was and he didn't reply. that was strange for him. Later he messaged saying he loved me to pieces and i'm really special but im too good for him and he can't be my boyfriend. I called him and he was crying on the phone saying it was all his fault. He then hung up and turned off his phone. What did i do wrong? Im so shattered, its the first thing that made me feel better in half a year since i lost something close too me. what do i do now? reader, anonymous, writes (22 January 2007): Yes definitely, I agree with the advice here. Be patient. A huge part of being in love is to understand your partner, and to understand your partner, you need patience. Give him time and space and see where he takes this.
Then again, I have an odd feeling about him.

 give it time he will cool down and tell u why he had to do what he has done. maybe you are too good for him have you been acting strangely innocent? maybe he lied to you (trying to win your heart) about some things and he knows if u find that out you will hate him more than you ever loved him. unfortunately when he realise he is not being true to you and himself his consious wouldnt let him keep lying to you. or another scenario he did nothing wrong he just couldnt believe he can end up with someone so "perfect" like you, u know love can make people behave in the strangest way. he will come around just wait and see.
