I really enjoy it but lately after sex I've been getting really severe pains in my lower stomach. The pain is really bad and usually lasts for about half an hour - sometimes a bit more. It's like I've been kicked in the side and I can barely move and struggle to breathe. I have to lie down and stay still until it goes away - I literally cannot move. I've shown my boyfriend where the pain is and he says it's right where my appendix is. I'm also concious that polycystic ovarian syndrome runs in my family - my mum, my aunt and my gran all have it and i know it can be heriditary, so am worried it might be something to do with my ovaries. What do I do? I'm going to book an appointment with the dr just to get it checked out but does anyone have any idea what it could be?

My mother's a nurse and she told me this fact a little while ago. So, if you feel the pain on the right side, it may not have anything to do with your appendix. Definitely check-in with the doc to make sure all's well in the ovarian department, especially if you want children.
