writes: Okay so! About a week ago my boobs hurt so bad for two days and then one morning I woke up and they grew probably close to a cup size. They felt a lot better but now my boobs hurt again all day but when I take my bra off for bed they feel better. Do you think bc my breasts grew and are a different size than all the bras i have now that my bras are making them hurt?

Maybe for the time being switch to a sports bra and definitely stay away from under-wire ones. Always make sure your bra actually FITS your body. Most women wear the wrong size. http://www.womenshealthmag.com/style/how-should-a-bra-fit
Like WCA mentioned sore boobs can be due to pregnancy, due to the hormonal changes.
Some also get VERY sore boobs called cyclic pain, because it centers around your period - the pain usually starts BEFORE the period begins, and ends when the period ends. Partly because your body retains more water during your period.
If you have been working out or more physically active it can be soreness in your pectoral muscles. As these muscles lay directly BENEATH your boobs.
Something as simple as drinking TOO much coffee/tea (too much caffeine) can make you feel sore - why it's boobs that suffer I don't know - but TRY and cut down on the caffeine - SPECIALLY about your period. And salt (though salt will not affect your boobs but it can make you retain more that the usual amount of water in your body and that can be unpleasant).
Growth-spurt. You might be experiencing a boob growth spurt.
And last but not least (and the scary one) it can be lumps (not all lumps are "bad" though remember that) so DO start doing self exams. Here is a how to:

So IF you are sexually active, GO see your doctor and do a pregnancy test. Even if you are NOT sexually active it might not be a bad idea to go see your doctor anyways.

Are you sexually active? Painful breasts can be a sign of pregnancy. If you are, take a pregnancy test ASAP, even if you've been using protection.

That is rather a painful situation to be in.I would suggest.[1]That you would consider going to your doctor and have them checked out.[2]In the meantime i would suggest that you buy a larger bra.Kinds regards NORA B.
