But do some sort of foreplay, say like he fingers/feels her up and then he leaves in the morning both knowing they won't be seeing each other again, to be a one night stand?Because my friends said that if the guy comes back and there is any foreplay involved, no matter how little. It is still seen as a one night stand? Is this true..... I thought a one night stand was only when you sleep with them and that's it?

One night stand to me is if there is sex. Personally, I wouldn't count it if there's been no intercourse. But opinions differ. I also think a one night stand is something spontaneous, and typically with a stranger who you wont see again. A planned get-together, even if it is planned to just be one night, isn't a "one night stand" in by book. It needs to be a spontaneous act for it to count.

I'd say it's really only a one night stand if they have sex.
