I dropped Education as my minor, so now I will graduate with an English BA. What can I do with an English BA? Reply to this Question Share |

I feel like the rug has been pulled out from underneath me because I don't know what I want to do. I feel like its the end of the world even though I know its not...hehe.

Those guys take pretty much anyone with a degree, no kidding. Not that I'm downplaying your degree quality, just saying finance pays well and isn't all too difficult to get into no matter what your background.Have to warn you though, bonuses will never be as high as they were back in 2007 but still, its one option open to all (so long as you get through the aptitude tests)Also look around. You'd be surprised how many fields are still open to someone with your degree, teaching isn't the only thing you can do with an english degree ;-)Good luck!

Hello. I'm not sure if this is very relevant, but you have finished a good chunk of your college education. I am pre-med and know of many people that end up getting a random degree such as a bachelor's in women's studies and take about 8 medical school prereqs and go onto medschool. Maybe you can take some relevant classes and take the LSAT and try you luck in law school. You could even take the GRE and find so me programs that you could get into with your score. You have many options, and keep in mind that a large part of your credits went to general education requirements at your school. At my university, you need 30 semester credit hours to accrue another new major since about 90 are general requirements in math, literacy, etc...you have many many options!
