 put a cold flannel on it whenever you can. it's probably gonna be hurting for a couple of days, it just needs time to heal up.
i use it around there too sometimes, you just have to be careful not to get it directly onto that part... the same thing has happened to me too, and usually time and a cold flannel do the trick for me.
now, if the pain hasn't got any better within the next 2 or 3 days i would say go and see a doctor but i'm sure you'll be fine
