What can I do to stimulate my girlfriend? She's always dry.

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Dear Cupid,

My girlfriend can't seem to get wet for me. She gets in the mood but when we attempt to have sex, she is as dry as ever. But yet, she still can be stimulated by touch, but not MY touch.

Why does this happen? What must I do to stimulate her? If I am the problem, what can I do to change that?

That's the thing, she hasn't always been like that.

Use lubricants to get going. If she's taking any medications (even just over the counter sleeping pills or cough drops) these can cause vaginal dryness.

Has she always had this problem or is it a new thing?

Try having her teach you how to rub her in a nice way. Or maybe give her some oral sex during the foreplay and use your saliva as a lubricant.

Never rub a girl down there if she's dry, it hurts and is not comfortable in the slightest. Lick your fingers before you touch her.

Never ever have sex without lubricants if she's dry, it's uncomfortable for her and can cause blisters and tearing.

Best of luck

You just have to know where the right touch is...and do it the right way, have her show you where and how to touch her. Maybe rub up against her...

You're probably not the problem, it's just a problem that she has (some women have that problem and it may be hormonal). She should probably see a doctor about it, and in the meantime buy some KY.

I had that problem before and a lot of the times the answer was making her comfortable. Consider everything like the cleanliness of your room, to the scent in the air, to even the lighting. That should help some. Then use some good foreplay ex: massaging, kissing all over her body, giving her compliments, etc. Get her in the mood and try not to be demanding if you are because that can push her away and take away the excitement. If your trying this and it still won't work for you then go the local store and pick up a bottle of lube.
