He lives about an hour and a half away and comes to visit me on the weekends because I don't own a car. So is there any little things I can do to show my affection for him (and that I miss him) during the weekdays or on the weekend when he visits? This is the closest I have gotten to a long distance relationship so I am a bit new to this. I am used to seeing him everyday and once a week is just a big change for me.

maybe sent him a letter so when he gets back home,he will have it to read. just say that you miss him and count the days till the weekend.
maybe get a bus and meet him half way and spend a few nights away from everything, just be inpulsive sweety.
make a music cd with all the songs you like and put it in his bag,so when he empties it,he will find it.
ohh you will think of something good, i have faith in you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I don't think gestures have to be big to mean something. Often the smallest gesture can have the most meaning. Send him an occassional text message during the day to tell him you're thinking about him. Or maybe when he comes down at the weekend ask him if there's any special food he'd like you to buy etc... the little things often mean the most.
