My teacher got really really angry with my and said, "are you trying to make my life impossible!!!!!" i felt really bad. at the end of the lesson, she kept me behind and started kinda shouting at me for not doing my homework. my year 8 teacher walks in (i never really used to do her homework either) and asks what's going on??? i went all shaky and scared and told her in a low voice, i didn't do my homework. she said,"aaaahhh right" and told my year9 teacher that i didn't do her homework in her class either. she started using a harsh kind of tone and shouted at me and i got an hour detention she told me that i was able but i was very lazy(she shouted that at me too) that hurt most. yes, i know i should've done that homework i forgot about, i feel really bad. i felt sooo bad that when i got home i did the 5 question homework staight away and it took up two pages. i used good language and put lots of detail and info into the answers. i did my detention today with her and my year 8 teacher. when i was leaving my detention i heard my year 9 teacher say to my year 8 one that i was the only one giving her lots of trouble, and that all the others learnt to do their homework and i didn't. i realised that i am actually lazy and i need to start doind my homework as i am doing my sats in four months. now after what happened i feel like no matter what i do my teacher will always hate me and give me the eveil eye. please someone help and tell me waht i can do to make my teacher like me again and prove her wrong?

I didn't forget on purpose, just seemed that I only remembered when the class started!I had loads of detentions, essays (I had to do one on elephants once when I forgot as they have good memories, I forgot to do it and ended up doing one on mammoths instead as they have even better memories!) as punishment for forgetting homework. I was told I was lazy and needed to concentrate etc.It might have been a horrible experience having your teacher shout at you, but they are trying to help. From their point of view, you forgot homework last year and now you're repeating the pattern. All you can do is try to remember to do it, maybe make it the first thing you do when you get home (I ended up doing mine at lunchtime in the library on day it was given to me). It might even be worth talking to your teacher one-to-one. Explain that you want to improve and don't want to let her down again. Ask for her help and then make sure you improve.

Though, yes, you should really do your homework, but if you don't, that's on you, not her. I would arrange to talk with the school counselor, and see what the school counselor would suggest. Maybe switching to a different class and trying over again would be a better idea.
