First kisses never usually turn out the way you think they will. In fact, I've kissed five people, but only two with tongue, and there's only been one of those two who kisses haven't been awkward with. And even our first kiss was awkward because I never really liked using tongue. You get used to it, though, and you can find ways to kiss better. It can sometimes be the other person or you who is a bad kisser, but bad kissers can always turn into good ones with practice. Just find what kind of kissing you like best, do that, and mix it up here and there. There are also plenty of kissing tips online. Good luck.

Congratulations! Your first real kiss is quite a moment!

But, like the first time you do anything, the chances of it being absolutely perfect are pretty low. Feeling awkward and unsure is perfectly normal.

I was about to say "practice makes perfect" but to be honest that's not quite true. Kissing does go wrong sometimes no matter how long you've been doing it for... noses get tangled, foreheads get bumped, you just generally get your wires crossed and it doesn't work out exactly as you'd planned. Of course, the majority of the time it works out fine, and when it doesn't you just laugh it off and try again - life is never like the movies where everything is perfect!

However, while you gain confidence doing less is probably the way forward - tilt your head slightly, lean towards him a little bit and let him find your lips.

Very soon though kissing will begin to feel natural, and you'll just enjoy it rather than worrying about doing it right.

Good luck!

I reckon most peoples first kisses were probably pretty awkward. I know mine was. Lol. But it'll get better as you go, trust me ;)

Well usually kissing should come naturally so if it is your first time then the likeliness is that your partner will be doing something wrong. Explain to him that is was your first kiss and maybe next time he will take it slower.

Don't bother trying anything fancy for now. Just a straight forward kiss and make sure it is just you and him on your own.

Don't worry :) Practice makes perfect and if he really cares about you he will let you take your time. =]

I hope this helps x
