Someone who I have liked for a couple of months now has been going through some really bad times, and I kinda knew half-heartedly about them before but now they seem to be gettng more serious. Her parents practically hate each other (her father hits her mum, and generally verbally and emotionally abuses her. I think he may hit her too...). She has some problems and she has been unable to go into school a lot of the time and this has affected potential grades. I don't really know what to do to make her happy. She's usually pretty open about it to her best friend, and usually to me however doesn't go into as much detail as I've been hearing over the weekend. I'd go into more detail but I don't really feel comfortable posting it on the internet. I don't think telling her I like her is the priority and I don't intend on doing it until she's out of the depressive period (which I've heard has been going on for a while).Just any advice on the situation would be appreciated coz I'm running out of ideas.

many people go through the same thing and it is really difficult i no this because i went throught it myself. the best thing that you can do is let her no that you are there for her and if she needs to talk or anythink u are there to help this will also bring u closer. however if she does not wont to talk about it she might wont to forget about everythink try to take her mind off things by doing somethink fun that u both injoy
i really hope she gets through it. u sound like a great friend

well the only thing you can really do hun is just be there for her wheneve she needs you like just be a friend for now and then if things lead any further great but she obviously needs people to talk to at the moment just try and like go out places somewhere away from her problems even if it's for a while.
just be her friend and be there for her and look after her.
Hope this helps
