What can I do about this ongoing, troubled relationship with this guy?

hey this is a long story but i need advice? i know this guy years i started to hangout with him when i was 15 we were great friends he had a girlfriend my bestfriend at the time and the three of us were inseperable well after a 14 months he finished it and kissed me. we hung out for a while but it wasnt anything special to him but it was to me on my birthday. i met his brother but we werent really together and i didnt think much of it. back in school he made my life a living hell shouting at me slagging me. i wud just laugh it off but eventually i cudnt take anymore and left. he stopped talking to me from then we were always at each other and every 1 knows how we are. eventually i went my own way and left my friends so we didnt see each other often but when we do he just stares at me and i can tell he wants to talk but wont. he is going out with sum1 now for 2 years has cheated on her. i dont know what to do why is he still part of my life. i once told him i loved him and he has it on bebo that im a psycho. that i rang him up and said i loved him at half 5 in the morning. its up 2 years now i just want to know were does this end
