writes: I have very pale skin and a few dark moles on my torso which make me feel very self conscious. They are not raised so I don't think they could be surgically removed. They are flat. So, is there a procedure or something that could permanently lighten them? Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (8 November 2006): Don't worry about them. If you have them on your face then put a bit of makeup over them, if not then leave well alone. If they change shape, height or colour or anything then go straight to your GP.
