reader, anonymous, writes (26 August 2009): You shouldn't want to do anything that will MAKE him propose to you.
If you are truly meant to be together, sooner or later (if he hasn't already) he will realise he wants to marry you.
In his own time, when he is ready he will propose. For marriage to work both people need to be completely ready, including him. So just give him some time and if its right he will become ready for marriage and ask you.
If you get 10 years down the road and still no ring...you will need to questions weatherr or not he believes in marriage (he may still think your the one but not believe in marriage), or weather your not the one for him.
