A female reader, anonymous, writes (30 March 2009):

signs are - less sex, less alone time, he spends more time @ work, less presents, more arguments sometimes about nothing. I disagree with the 'just ask him' approach as men don't like being put on the spot. instead try the 'make him remember what he's missing' move out for a week (pretend you're spending time with relatives or friends) flirt innocently with someone else - dress sexy when you're going out with girlfriends. If he doesn't chase you then i'm sorry but he's really not that into you. good luck.

Have a serious talk with him. Ask him what he wants to do and tell him you want the truth. If he can't handle a serious relationship then it's time for you to move on, it'll be hard but you'll have to. But you got to get the truth out of him some how. If he keeps acting more normal and wants a serious relationship then you know he's not going to break up with you. But just have a serious talk with him about it.

sarcy24 agony auntBecoming cold and distant, having little interest in anything that you might be arranging for the future, always texting, not answering his mobile in front of you, staying out after work. The main thing normally is that they are not interested in discussing 'feelings' or your relationship at all and are bored by the whole topic. Also seeing more of so called 'friends'.
