writes: Gonna try keep this as short as possible! Was just wondering what the chances of having a false negative pregnancy test are? I took a test around 2 weeks ago which resulted in negative. But my period still hasn't come, making it over 6 weeks late! I used to have trouble with irregular periods but not in the past year. Should I try a different brand of tests or put it down to irregularity?Any answers appreciated. Thanx!

reader, anonymous, writes (29 November 2008): Suggest you get a doctor to check you out because if you are not pregnant you still need to know why your periods are irregular.
