He suggested that we should use condom but I don't think I'm gonna like it. So please what other means can one prevent getting pregnant other than using condoms. Thanks.

Condoms are the cheapest and easiest, though they can be a mood breaker when you have to stop and open one up and put it on, but less mood breaking than a surprise pregnacy or a sudden case of crotch rot.

Although, no other contraception will protect you against STDs/STIs, not saying your partner has one but it doesn't hurt to be careful! So even if you did go on the pill or anything else, it would be wise to STILL use a condom alongside it

Condom preference is a personal thing. Some like it, some don't. So i would 't rule it out until you have tried it. Generally, if used properly are a good choice. When I say properly I mean: In date, put on properly and if needed lubricant like KY for example. You could have an implant in your arm, oral contraception, female condom, IUD etc. There are loads of things out there on the market but not all work well with your body. Some can have side effects while others don't. My advice is go see your GP or Sexual Health Clinic to see what best suits you. Take your bf along too because it is not entirely your responsibility when it comes to contraception just your responsibility to not to forget to take it or go ahead with protection in the heat of the moment situations- and they do happen! Just be aware that the withdrawal method is a is probably the WORST choice. The risk is far too high.
