Long distance is very hard, especially when he is going in the army. But it is possible.
Basic training will be really hard as he won't see you for 3 months.
Just take it one day at a time and distract yourself so you are not thinking about him every second.
My hubbie is off to Iraq soon so I do know how horrible it can be but you just have to stay strong and fill your time up.
The good thing about the army is that it pays well so he will be able to afford to travel home and see you when he can.
Good Luck!! xx
