 It's down to the males sperm whether it is a boy or a girl. So pray for a little girl sperm to beat a little boy sperm. I don't think there is a way you can guarentee a baby girl. I found out on Tuesday I'm having a girl after everybody saying I was having a boy because of the way my body was carrying the baby. It's all fables and stuff.

reader, anonymous, writes (15 June 2007): I heard onvce that when a woman's body is more 'alkaline' there's more chance of having a boy, and when it's more 'acidic' there's more chance of conceiving a girl. This refers to diet, I think. Acidic meaning the foods you eat like tomatoes, citrus fruits, etc. Also when the man's crotch is more constricted I heard there's more chance for a girl. Plus the younger and more athletic you both are the more are your chances of having a girl, apparently. Whether all that's true I don't know but you could always try eating lots of tomatoes and oranges and have your man wear tight underwear!
