writes:Were these people messing with me or do you think one of them was interested in me ?. I was in a pub and i walked past this group of people when one of the men shouted to me. I turned around and i recognised him from when i saw him in a bar a couple of weeks ago. I had danced with him a little bit then. He said to his friends that we had been in the restroom in the bar and he had my knickers ( they're called panties in America ) , but we hadn't, so iguess he was trying to make his friends laugh, or he was trying to imply that he found me attractive. I was going to the restroom when i walked past their table, and when i came out, i heard the girl who was sat with them say " she's coming back now " to the guy who had shouted to me. The group asked me to sit down, and the guy who had shouted to me said " come over here to your daddy ". i know he was saying that in a sexual way and then he told me not to take him on. He looks like he is a lot older than me, say, late thirties, early-mid forties, something like that. His friend asked me what my name was so i told him, and he offered to buy me a drink , but my friends were waiting for me and they had already ordered me a drink , so i went back over to them. The guy who shouted to me left a while later, but when i went to used the restroom again, the girl who had been sat with them said hello to me and waved to me. They seemed like a funny bunch of people, and i would have liked to have spoken to them longer, but my friends didnt want to sit with them, and i couldnt have left my friends on their own. I might see them around again, as the town i live in is very small.Do you think he said something to the girl and that's why she told him i was coming back, and that was why she waved when i walked past again ?. For god's sake he didn't even know your name and is treating you like bar scum! What a tool!

It's polite to update. Again we weren't there you were, so we can speculate all we want. But judging from his atrocious behavior that's where we get our answer.

It does sound as though this man was trying to degrade and disrespect you and you have nice friends who are looking out for you. I'm not sure what happened or if you got too drunk but I'd avoid those people in the future so your good name doesn't get tarnished.
