 Continue being his friend, ask him if he wants to go for coke or a smoothy. Try to talk with him and open up to him and in turn he'll open up to you too. If you continue talking then his trust in you will grow and that friendship bond will strengthen then HE might take the initiative and ask you if you want to take it a step further. Just be patient though and continue getting to know one another.
