We're going to be living far apart -- should I try to keep it as an LDR?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello,

I am currently in a relationship with a guy I really care about (we've been together about 5 months). In a couple of months I am moving to a new city very far away and I am concerned about trying to work out a long distance relationship. There is no chance for me moving back to my current city, and there is no way for him to come to where I am moving either (not that I would ask him to leave his life behind anyway). Should we try to stay together? Should we break up? I care very much for him, but I can see no way in which we will every be together again. Thank you for your opinions.
