writes: i need your help me i decided to surprise my husband and buy my self a sexy nurse outfit as my husband had dropped a few hints so i got my mum to have the kids for the night and after having a lovely meal at home i go upstairs and put the outfit on but when i came down stairs i felt so stupid and embarrased and i didnt know what to do or how to act and even my husband laughed and said i looked silly.how do i spice things up without looking like an idiot?  I think unless you are comfortable in what you are putting on and acting out then you are going to look and come across silly not sexy, you need to find something sexy that you feel comfortable in and go with that.
I always found that doing a strip for my ex made me feel silly and because of that I never came off sexy just like I was messing around and having a laugh when I really was trying to be sexy so I realised that strip teases were really not my thing and went for something I enjoyed doing and felt comfortable doing and it worked.

Start with something a little more subtle like a nice lingerie set, or a corset, knickers and stockings. My hubby loves me to dress up a little more "classier" shall we say. He prefers lingerie and corsets.
Maybe your hubby likes something particular, its probably easier to just ask him and then you can get it just the way he likes it.

 If you felt stupid and embarassed then its natural to feel silly and for your husband to pick up on tha too. It's probably not the outfit, but how you wear it and carry the whole thing off. I'd suggest that you go for something a bit less extreme so that you feel more natural and comfortable in it. Maybe just some great underwear / nightwear, or a very revealing outfit with no knickers. And the trick is to not take it or yourself too seriously. Have fun :)
