writes: I am very nervous. I met someone from online in february..we have been texting/talking every day/night..basically always some form of communication. He always reaches out to me in the morning. It is a little long distance-we are few hours apart but he seemed like he wanted this and i was supposed to come up saturday. We spoke a few nights ago for about an hour. He said he missed me etc. He had already asked me to be his girlfriend the 2nd time i saw him. I haven't heard from him since wednesday afternoon with a text. Everything seemed fine. He said he was at the park with his daughter. He has her most nights and treats her like gold.I texted him yesterday (thursday) at 2:50 in the afternoon (meanwhile i usually wait for him to text me first which happens in the morning) I wrote is everything ok with you? No responseat 5:50 i text him again saying i hope everything is ok with you. It seems weird I haven't heard from you. I tried to make it seem like i am nervous maybe something happpened to him or his daughter6:00 i text miss you :) to try and sound normal. I have sent him a few texts at once before and we have seemed pretty open with each other so i felt like i could get away with it.25 minutes later i decided to call with my number and no answer (i rarely ever call him--i let him initiate it but tonight i felt it was justified) I texted him after is there something wrong? :(I remembered after i can send a voicemail with delivery receipt. Meaning--when he listens to the vmail i can get confirmation. I didn't have anything on the vmail. It was to basically hopefully know when he listens to the blank message.I hope it works--it may not depending what phone he has but hopefully it works. I have used it before but that other person had the same company as me.It just sounds weird :( and i feel so upset and it just didn't seem like he was that type of guy. I don't get what happened and why can't he just tell me. At this point it's been over 2 months of us being in contact everyday so it just seems weird to not let me know anythingWhat should i think? I feel so upset :(

reader, anonymous, writes (23 March 2012): It does sound odd after the usual communication. Especially as you planned to go up there Saturday.
Only he knows whats going on, could be something to do with his daughter.Could be he has changed his mind, wouldn't hurt to let you know though.
I would just sit tight and wait to see if you hear from him, dont contact him again. Make other plans for Saturday.
