 If done wrong it can be VERY painful. If done right, then not at all.

 The important thing is that you have a considerate caring partner. It does hurt, but done correctly is more uncomfortable than painful. Maybe a little smarting and tenderness, but gradually allowing him to enter ensures you dont get a hit straight of of pain, more a slight uncomfortbale feeling until it starts to get use to it. Ensure you are very well lubricated, you can use KY jelly, or they do some anal lubes that are a slightly different consistency. Make sure your turned on, and take it slow. Its sometimes nicest to maybe have vaginal sex first get yourself really turned on and allow your man to insert a finger into the area so that you start to like the feeling, get him to tease you a bit in that area. It will smart when you first try, but lube the area and also his penis, try not to tense as this pushes it back, just relax, to begin i think the best position to start is maybe doggy, if at anytime it hurts more than you are comfortable for tell your partner to stop and start again or try a later time. Once you have done it a couple of times, you can try girl on top etc.. with doggy he can see and this will allow him to guide in plus you can pull away yourself if you are way to uncomfortable. Make sure he is very slow and the more lube the better, once you have got past the first stage you will enjoy it, but dont rush and if it doesnt work the first time dont force it, take it easy and relax and in time you will get there!

In one word - YES it does hurt BUT use plenty of lube (KY jelly) and I do mean PLENTY and go very very very slow. You have to be completely relaxed as if you're not you will clench up and it will hurt even more. The first few times do hurt but if you keep doing it, like anything, your body becomes accoustomed to the feeling and it will start to feel delicious! Have fun! xxx
