So we were thinking about a cruise or Mexico/Cuba all inclusive. This way we're indoor if we want to. I'm leaning more on the cruise. We want to just show up at a travel agent and see what's available on the last minute deal. I've never been on a cruise (but my boyfriend have). Is there anything I should know about cruising June/July. Any Hurrican season for certain area? Also, what sort of things we should do on the cruise as a couple? Reply to this Question Share |

The Alaskan cruises are fabulous this time of year. Scenery is unbelievably gorgeous!

If you are not a sun/beach person then I would suggest you do a New England cruise which leaves out of New York and then goes to Boston and Maine. There is lots to do on this cruise including sightseeing at some very historic towns. Your from Canada so the fares might be reasonable. There is lots to do on the ship too including spas, casino and of course, eating!
Another idea is the Alaskan cruise. If you stick with the Mexico/Cuba idea it is really going to be HOT and hurricane season does start in August.
I've never done the all-inclusive deal but I have heard good things about it. I've cruised with Princess and have heard from other passengers that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity along with Princess are all top of the line for service and food. The Carnival and Disney cruises tend to attract kids, especially in the summer so watch out for that.
