Every little thing we do annoys one another, we fight about the stupidest things, and I can't remember the last time I got butterflies and was excited to see him. I've tried to fix things but it never seems to last long. We've broken up before a few times, but I always felt bad or just missed talking to him. I don't want to lose him as a friend, but I'm afraid if we break up that we will never be close anymore. Should I break up for good, or just hope that things change?

I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that we thought it would be best to end things and have talked about still being good friends. I'm not sure if we will get back together again, but we both think that time apart will be good for both of us and I very much agree with your comment regarding "time to miss each other". Again, thank you and It's so good to know that other people have gone through this and are happy again, whether things were patched up or not.=D
