writes: Lately my friend and I have been fighting. We never fought until she starting dating her boyfriend. I dated this boy before and I think I want him back. Well, when I told her this we had a very big argument and are no longer friends. This all happened today and I've told the boy we could no longer speak either. The only bad thing is, they're both my best friends. I'm not sure if I should let them back in, or if I should leave them out and move on? I could really use some good advice...

reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2011): You said so yourself, they're both your best friends. I have learned that you just don't turn your back on your friends, you'll regret it in the future. Apologize to your friends and tell them you were angry, that you didn't mean what you said.
