reader, anonymous, writes (1 May 2005): I am currently in the same situation. I think it is best to ask why she attends the single events and what events? I have told my boyfriend numerous times I attend only to mingle with my friends and to be social. I pick and choose my events, since I am not single anymore. If she attends the events that are for meeting singles, then she does not care about your feelings and is probably not ready to give up the single life. Question her and the motives!!

Well I don't know but if she really cares about you. She should think about your feelings, and should be able to talk about this problem and resolve it the best way she knows how in order for the relaitionship to continue to grow and prosper.
