writes: how do i cope with the fact that i hooked up with my best friend and she now says it was a mistake? because it wasn't a mistake to me, and it meant something. and it wasn't necessarily a mistake to her at the time, but she says afterwards she realized it was. and i'm feeling pretty distraught about it because i liked her so much. anyway, i just need some advice on how to deal with it because i'm feelings so down.

reader, anonymous, writes (7 August 2006): hey man, im in the same situation, dont worry about it, there plenty more fish in the sea, maybe somewhen she'll change her mind and realize it meant something to her aswell. She could've said it was a mistake coz it did mean something to her and she could've got scared of such strong feelings.

 you will pick yourself up and sort something out you need to think to your self best it happened now than a couple of years later.perhaps you could keep being good friends you need to talk to her you need your friends around you hope you sort it out
