A male Ireland age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Hi Guys

Small problem. I got to know a girl at dancing lessons and we got to get friendly there. As the lessons progressed, we got to know each other and had long sessions chatting afterward. We also went to a restaurant after last week's lesson and a great time with she laughing and touching; kinda giving all the right signals. However since the last lesson she seems a little different (she is still friendly and we have our own jokes and laugh) but i kinda got a feeling that shes gone slightly cold. What could it be ? maybe i said something or she changed her mind? how do i find it our w/o being too straight forward to ask what happened. How can bring that rapport back.

Thanks

A male reader, Universe Man United States +, writes (26 January 2011):

Girls are like that. Hot and cold. Playing games. You've just got to play them too. Ignore her for a day, or strike up a conversation with another girl in the class, and see if she doesn't warm right up to you. If you're staring at her wishing she would talk to you and be nice to you, you're dead in the water. It sucks, but it's true.
