He has 2 children to a previous relationship, which sometimes causes us not to have time on our own. I love his children and this doesn't bother me but I think he thinks he puts pressure on me. If it is really bothering you then try booking a table for just the two of you, then off to a luxury hotel suite, bottle of Champagne from room service and you never know.
