He moved 2 hours away and I just got job an hour and a half further away. He kept calling and txting me a lot but he backed off recently when I told him I wasn't ready to be his friend. The thing I"m having a problem with is that I am totally at peace with the break up but I also know in my heart that I'm going to be in love with him for a very long time. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I still in shock or something? I just feel like he is the man for me but I also feel we shouldn't be together. Uch, whats my deal!?

Your deal is pretty normal... you split up for a reason other than unhappiness in the relationship so without any harsh or angry feelings.... you are bound to still have feelings for him.the only way to move forward sometimes is to cut the contact and focus on your job and new place you moved too. Meet some new people and see where life takes you.Once you are down that road a ways..perhaps contact on a friendly level will be easier for you.One never knows what the future holds.... it is unwritten for the both of you... maybe some day you will have a better opportunity to try again.
