A reader, anonymous, writes (14 July 2008):

You broke up for a reason.

You may like him. He may like you. The only way your ever going to find out is if you ask him. If you don't want to ask him or 'can't', then you can't do anything to solve the problem so stop worrying about it because you 'can't' change anything.

I suggest you just go out and tell him. It'll be like ripping off a plaster. Quick and painless. So what if he doesn't like you?! At least its out of your system. At least it won't make your friendship as awkward.

I can't see you doing it, but your situation needs to be resolved quickly so prove me wrong and go and do it. Be strong. I know its hard but you can sit their and mope about it or do somehting about it.

Your choice.
