The relationship just wasn't working for me and in the end I figured out I didn't actually like him as more than a friend. It wasn't really a bitter break-up, and we said that we would try to remain friends afterwards, as we had a lot of mutual friends and we didn't want them to have to choose between us.Now, it seems that he's gone back on everything he's said. A lot of my friends told me that he's been saying bad things about me. They've shown me texts from him calling me a fat wh*re and a sl*t.When I confronted him, he completely denied it, despite all the evidence I had against him.I'm just wondering, how can I get him to stop? I doubt we can become close friends again, but I'd really like it if we could at least remove the bitterness thats between us.Thanks for reading,X

act-casual is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks everyone that answered. Yeah he's just basically reinforcing my reasons for dumping him, so I'm just going to try and be the bigger person.
I guess I'll see who my real friends are from this anyway :)
