writes:My girlfriend of 5 years broke up with be because she saw a note on msn under the contact list telling a woman that I used to chat with her 5 years go and wanted to talk to her. I used to chat with her befor I met my gf. She thought I was planning to cheat or cheated on her. The resone for sending that note is becuse we used to live together but then had to move apart because of financian reasons and because her late husbands mother was put in an old folks home so instead of renting her place she stranger my gf would live ther with her kids and pay only the tax. Her late hubands mother didn't want another man living in she same home that her late son did. She suggested I find a place just around the corner from her which I found with her help. Before moving she said she would come to sleep over some weekends.I have my son every other wkend. In the 3 months we lived separately she came to sleep over once a month which is not enough. So after the not we broke up. The reason for the contact was because I wanted input form a woman about why my gf wasn't sleeping over every other weekend. I was psssesive and demanding.Now after a few weeks after the breakup she is seeing another guy whome she know who liked her and snd she lied him.Last night she came over to talk and I explain the her that I never chated on her and will always love her no matter what. This is after giving he a month of space which she asked for. She would like to remain friends and I asked if I can call her she said yes call on my cell but don't make a habit of it. I told her if we ever get back I would be a better person because I learned a lot from the breakup. She agreed we can still go for coffee and stuff but movies are out of the question because she is seeing that guy and is only starting to find out about him. If there was love between me and my gf is there any chance of getting back together? She is keeping the lines of communication open. She said it would be hard to be friends since we were together for 5 years.
