Generally dreams are loosely connected to things you think about right as you're falling asleep, whether or not you remember thinking them. About 6 months back I was having persistent dreams about cheating on my boyfriend. We're still together and happy and I've never cheated on him or wanted to. Dreams mean nothing.

Dreams can tell us about the things we fear... He likes you, you like him, you are frightened to loose each other and therefore you dream.
It's a warning, make sure that you are happy and you do things that make you both laugh and want to stay together.
