writes: i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, and have lived together for 2 years. we are soulmates, but for the past few days, he has been really distant, and has kept his mobile on silent for the past few days and barely even acknowledges me. i dont know what to do....can you give me some advice?

reader, anonymous, writes (28 December 2006): Well, you have been with him for 3 years, you know him better than we do...what do you think it is, could he be stressed out over a personal problem or a relationship problem with family or work that he does not feel like burdening you with until he has his thoughts worked out.
Personally, I would just give him some space and tell him that if something is bothering him that you hope he will tell you about it or if he needs to talk you will listen...what more can you do?
