A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Today i went out with my friends including this guy who I've been having feeling for recently and we went to the park and everyone else went off and it was just me him and my best friend and we were playing catch and coming on to each other as a joke( he's single but I have a boyfriend) and saying inneundos to make each other laugh and then he said why don't we play touch rugby so he explained the rules to me including putting his hands around my waist to demonstrate what counts as "tackeling" so we started playing and my friend just stood there while we played and eventually he got me and he pulled me over and we started laughing when I realised I was face down on top of him. My question is was what happened cheating or something my boyfriend could get jealous about if I tell him?

llifton agony auntso...how would you feel if you could be a fly on the wall and saw your boyfriend do that with another girl? i'm pretty sure it would hurt you, unless you don't care about your boyfriend at all.

did you cheat? technically no. but you seriously flirted with this guy. and yes, your boyfriend would absolutely have the right to be upset. do yourself a favor and either don't have a boyfriend if you like to play around like that, or stop flirting like that. two simple solutions.

It wasn't cheating, but you were playing with fire by teasing like that.

Sexual innuendo one-on-one is NEVER a good thing...it can get you in all kinds of situations...

aunt honesty agony auntTechnically no it was not cheating but yes it could very well be something that your boyfriend will get jelous of. Try and look at it from the other way. If that boy was your boyfriend and you were some other girl would you find it acceptable for your boyfriend to be flirting like that with another girl? Think about it that way.
