It is probably innocent and whatever you do keep it cool and say "sure I'll make sure the item gets to you" and deliver it to him with a smile. Expect nothing... you won't be disappointed that way.

Return the goods to him and ask him out for a drink, you do not want him as just a friend, if you did, it wouldn't be such a huge deal. Be honest.
Go for it but be ready for a knock back too

Looks like an innocent mistake. If you want more then milk this error for what's it worth. Go after what you want.

I agree with Aunt Honesty. Let him lead.
I have several addresses on Ebay as I have ordered presents here n there so its an easy mistake to tick the wrong box or forget to change it.

I would just tell him to contact the seller and change the address. I would NOT read more into it.
Now IF he uses eBay a lot I can see it's weird, if he hasn't really used it since last time he used your address it can just be a mistake.
Like AH says, just sit back and let him do the chasing - IF there is going to BE any chasing.

It does sound suspicious that he accidentally used your address. However it could have been an innocent mistake. I think the best thing to do here is just to keep things cool and see how it plays out. If he wants to get back in contact with you then he will. You pushed him away before by being to clingy so this time I suggest letting him do the chasing and you will soon know if he wants to rekindle the friendship or not.
