writes: I am a dancer. Recently I was asked to demonstrate some dance moves to some kick boxing students (most of them male) who take classes at the same dance studio. They were curious about the dance program.I was fine with it. I do not see anything wrong with promoting what I do. So I showed them routines and they joined in. They were enthusiastic and enjoyed the class.When I told my BF about it, he said it seemed strange and odd that they would want to know about the dance program. And said they just wanted to see me dance.Do you think he is jealous? Is he right?I don't think I did anything wrong.

Maybe they JUST wanted to see your dance,but.. they could have done that without having you instructing them.
They joined in, they had fun, you had fun - I don't see the big deal at all.
While kick boxing isn't about grace, the fluidity and balance of dance can definitely be useful in kickboxing.
I DO think it was more to ogle at the pretty instructor then learning how to dance (one class is pointless) but I still don't see the big deal.
