Was moving an excuse to break up?

Question - (30 May 2009) 0 Answers - (Newest, )
A age 30-35, * writes:

My boyfriend of more than a year recently broke up

with me [via phone] because he said he was

permanently leaving town immediately to start a new

job. He said he was absolutely devastated and sorry

he had to do this, he was sobbing and kept

repeating that he loved me and would never get over

me. Needless to say I was absolutely heartbroken.

However, a month later he still hasn't left for this "job" in another place. He's still in town, and when I asked him why he hasn't left yet, he said the job fell through and he's staying. Yet he didn't make any plans to get back with me.

Now its like I don't even exist, he doesn't talk to me and avoids me. I see pictures on his MySpace/Facebook of him kissing other girls.

I used to know him 100%, he used to be my entire life, and now he is a complete stranger to me.

I can't help but believe that his "moving" story was an excuse to get rid of me.

I've tried gettting with other guys but I keep finding that all I want is him.

Help.
