writes: I'm a 16 year old girl from england, and I went on a trip to america in summer and met this guy, who's from germany. He's 18 and really sweet, fun and caring. I was with him all the time, and he was constantly hugging me, kissing me (on the cheek), sitting with me, and teasing me. Everyone noticed this and started trying to set us up, which I found embarrassing cause I didn't really know how I felt about him. The trip ended with neither of us really making a move, but everyone thinking we were a 'really cute couple', and me still not being sure about the whole thing. When we got home we texted and talked on facebook and he said he wanted to come over and visit me, and that he missed me loads. We didn't talk for about a month, and then i found out he'd just got a girlfriend. Now I'm more upset than i'd even thought possible, and i think it took knowing he can't be with me, to figure out that i REALLY liked him. So i just wanted to know if there was anything i could do to feel better about this? Or if anyone thinks he actually ever did like me as more than a friend? And if i should still try and stay in contact with him, now he has a girlfriend? I know I'm being pathetic, but I just feel awful because i didn't take my opportunity and it hurts so much knowing he's with someone else :( Sorry about the essay!
