me and my lover are both in our late 30's and we get on really well, trouble is, on the internet we both use this chatsite and we both leave messages to other friends on there, both male and female......now my problem is,my fella does get women flirt with him but he doesn't flirt back, but the other night there was a woman who told him that she thought he was lovely and basically, flirting with him alot. In the mean time my fella was talking to me privately at the same time and i got annoyed that he was still humouring her while talking to me so i told him that he was being insensitive and i went off line. Was i being oversensitive?

Thanxs mandy for your advice, but it seems that my jealous outburst has driven my lover away.He lives 3 hours from me so the only regular contact when i cant see him is through the internet.Anyway he wasn't online last night(yesterday) and tonight i sent him an email asking why he was giving me the silent treatment? he hasn't replied back and he hasn't been using the chatsite, i feel so depressed now. Do you think he's having second thoughts about me?

Hi Hunny

If you are on a chat site the chances of this happening are quite high I would have thought, You must have had a few guys say your lovely but you dont flirt back and usually your b/f doesnt, There comes a fine line hunny on things like this because it can be an ego boost for both sexes to feel attractive and to be told it may have caught his attention a tad to much but all being told would it not catch your attention just a little if some great looking guy said you were fit? I think as long as you are happy and this was a flirty bit of fun then let it go, Yea I can fully understand how you felt but its not a nice feeling and one you could well do without. pop it down to a learning curve and go and jump on ya fella if he doesnt live to far away....or just tease him untill he can see only you in his head and he jumps on the next train dwn to you TAKE CARE SWEETHEART WITH LOVE N HUGS MANDY XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
