writes: I was supposed to go on a second date with this guy tonight.. supposed to meet at 9.. i needed a little more time so i texed him saying is 9:30 ok? and he says coolat about 9.15 i get a call from him and he didn't sound too happy and he said he got a bad phone call about this brother in law and he got arrested tonight; got into a fight etc etc.. i was really nice about it (i think anyway) and sounded pleasant and said im sorry and he said no he is sorry he feels terrible and i basically said i understand.. and he said he would try to call lateri dont think i have much luck and a part of me even wonders if i am being blown off but that is some lie to tell if i am lol....i also questioned if i sounded too nice and happy on the phone?? and maybe that was bad or i would imagine he is probably concerned with other things if that was the truth.. but i sounded pleasant when he told me, still sounded somewhat happy b/c i didn't want to be b*tchy about it at all..was that a bad move on my part?
