Was he trying to make me feel better? Or is he insanely picky?

Me and my fairly new boyfriend (ie there's a lot we still don't know about each other yet) were watching a movie last night starring one of his fave female celebrities. I mean, she's absolutely gorgeous and I've got no problem with him thinking that too - I'm completely happy with myself. My problem is this: after making it clear he thinks she's good looking and I agreed (I shouldn't have seemed annoyed at all, because I'm fine with that kind of thing), he said she's got huge thighs though...do you think he just said that in case I started feeling jealous? I'm hoping that's all it was, because I've been with an incredibly picky guy before, and it eventually turned to being picky about me and killed our relationship.
