We get on very well and are best friends however recently i have really wanted to get with her and have had very strong feelings for her. Whenever we go out people always mistake us for a couple, she is generally a flirty person so it would be hard to tell if she was genuinly flirting or giving signals. I really want to tell her how i feel but i am afraid if the answer is negative it will affect the rest of our time at uni and our friendship in general. Also it will be awkward being in the same house together and we most of our friends are in the same social group. What would be the best way to see how she feels?....

If you don't ask you will know how she feels about you. Tell her how you feel, you may be pleasantly suprised at her reation.
If she dosen't feel the same im sure you can both go on being friends as you are.
Good luck

You're grown ups now. It's not like school anymore where if your love is unrequited you can never speak again. It's a few seconds of embarassment and then things go back to the way they were and that's the worst case scenario.

Well, if you tell her and she does not feel the same. It may make things awkward or the rest of uni But it may not make a diffrence at all once youve talked about it. If she likes you and get with her, and it turns out you are not right for each other, it could make things awkward that way. But, again, if you get together and everything goes great, do you really want to be living with your girlfriend. Things will change either way, if i was you i would possibly wait untill you finish uni. If you want to know how she feels, kiss her when your both drunk. If she tells you to sling your hook, you can use the old '' sorry i was so drunk '' excuse or say you didnt remember a thing. Even if she doesnt like you, im sure she will get over you trying it on. JUST DO IT. You dont want it to be one of those '' WHAT IFS'' .
