These intangible justifications is faith. Faith is something that cannot be seen and only felt. However, feeling is relative to personal interpretation. The proof of this is in the various religions itself. If you take the faiths of Christianity, Islam, Pureland Buddhism, Judaism, and so on and so forth, you can see that there are numerous denominations and within those denominations, there are numerous degrees of interpretations.Humans will never know for sure what ancient philosophers and ethical teachers really taught and rely on books, scriptures, sutras and the like to guide them to their varying paths of faith. Examples of these books, scriptures, sutras and the like is the series of text that form the Old and New Testaments, the Koran and the Sukhavativyuha. As for myself, I have an unlabeled spiritual relationship with the universe. As for my view on the religions and faiths of this world, they are all either truthful or all false. To clarify this simplistic concept, all religion came from a source of inspiration. Teachers, philosophers and god-like humans rose up amongst the creations of these faiths. Whether they are metaphorical or relatively real, these ideals were all created to exist in one form or another. Since they were all created to exist in one form or another, all religions hold some form of personal interpreted truth. Just as all *other* religions also hold some form of personal interpreted 'lies'. Ultimately, it's how you perceive them and whether it connects or disconnects with you.

In short, life is not fair and there isn't anyone keeping score for the afterlife.I think we can get feelings about the likely future though. Not sure things, but there are zillions of possible futures and maybe we can sense some of the bigger things that are ahead on this particular track.

A person is made up of three parts: The body, the soul, and the spirit.
The body is our physical self.
The soul is basically our intellect and our emotions, also our will.
The spirit is the part of us that transcends this world. It is the part of us that is designed to be eternal.
The fact is that most people pick one of those and work exclusively on that area but we need to work on each area because they are interdependent.
In other words, the body is the vehicle, the soul is the decision part and the spirit is our fate/guide.

I question your question. I believe in having faith in God. I believe that miracles are worked by faith. I don't believe that we are predestined to anything. We are responsible to find our own way in life. We have to accept the consequences of our actions. So how do you tally my vote?

My personal opinion is that nobody can know for certain what is true or real regarding faith. Nothing is certain. So I believe that you have to choose your own faith, whether that is a specific religion, or your own personal opinions about life in general.
As for destiny, I believe that a certain path may be mapped out for us, so to speak, but that we have the power to change anything about our lives if we really want to.
It's a good question though, and it will be interesting to see what other people have to say about the subject.
